John Sanders

Welcome to my eDossier

Hello there! I am John Sanders, a December 2025 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Modern Languages with a Spanish Emphasis. Since I began taking upper-level Spanish classes in the Fall of 2022, my coursework has included Spanish composition, Hispanic literature, Latin-American history, translation, linguistics, and business and professionalism. Clemson’s multidisciplinary approach to the languages creates well-rounded graduates who are conversationally fluent, culturally immersed, and professionally competent in a diversity of fields. On the ‘Coursework’ page, you will find a detailed and itemized summary of my academic coursework at Clemson, along with writing samples that reflect the diversity of my studies.

During the spring of 2024, I joined a Clemson faculty-directed study abroad program in Córdoba, Argentina. During this five-month semester, I lived with a host family, attended a local university, travelled independently, and had an incredible diversity of deeply immersive experiences in the language and culture of Argentina. On the ‘Study Abroad’ page of this website, you will be able to find a reflective writing of my study-abroad semester, along with photos that I took along the way.

The website also includes copies of my academic resumé in English and Spanish in the ‘Resumé’ page, and a summary of relevant extra-curricular activities under the ‘Outreach’ page.

I am incredibly proud to begin serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in March of 2026. This service will last 27 months, and I will be stationed in Costa Rica to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL) to students at secondary public schools.
